Reasons being proud to be a Singaporean

Singapore has become a first world country within in this 49 years. In 1965, we have NOTHING -literally. But we have efficient government to build the country. 

Safety First

Singapore is a safe country to live in and travel to. You can hang out from late night to dawn around the state. The diligent police force does patrol around the neighbourhood. They do not take bribery. Although less crime does not mean no crime, please do not bring too much cash out at night. But rest assured, Singapore has the reputation of being safe. 

One Singapore

Singapore has built a multi-racial society. We have four major races here - Chinese, Malay, Indians and Eurasians. Our ancestors are from different part of the world.  But the descendants like us now, meet in this island state. We communicate through English - sometimes we called that Singlish. Since we were young, all races studied in the common place in pre-school and all the way until the workforce. Sometimes we can see the race groups celebrating the one another's festivals. It is a good time to try the cuisine of one another's culture. I have many friends from other races and I am proud of that! We pledge equality here.

We Are Free To Travel

Singaporeans do not need to have visa to travel around the world, unless we are travelling to Middle East and African countries. Without Visa, it is hassle-free and we do not need to spend money on that piece of paper. 

What Is Natural Disaster?

We do not face any natural disaster AT ALL. We do encounter haze sometimes, but it is not caused by our country.

Cheap Public Transport

The maximum fare from Pasir Ris (East) to Joo Koon (West) by MRT is $2.02. Whilst, for standard ticket is $2.40. The bus transport will be cheaper than MRT. These transports will be serving you from 5.30 am - 12 midnight. On the weekends and eve of public holiday and public holiday itself, there will be night rider buses serving you from 12 midnight to 2 am. The fare is $4.50. Some lucky one may alight at the bus stop they desired, for example, their neighbourhood bus stop.  If you think public mass transports are crowded or slow, taxi is an alternative. The initial fare is $3.20 only. It serves you 24 hours around the island. You won't be afraid to hang out late at night. The transport of Singapore is very efficient. 

We Are Number 1

Changi Airport is one of the best and busiest airports in the world. We are going to have five terminals in total in the future. It will be beautiful!

NEWater is a good invention. We produce our own water. It serves as one of the 5 taps in Singapore. 
Singapore Flyer is the biggest observation wheel in the world, we are before London Eye.
Iconic Esplanade Theatre  is for performing arts. Orchestra performing are held there, go there if you are a music lover.
